Our villain of the year, Kirsty Soames aka Natalie Gumede was complimented by David Cameron on her acting as her character.
Mr David Cameron released a statement to say how much "he had been enjoying Coronation Street and the soaps" since last month, and picked up on Natalie's acting skills. "She plays her like it's real - she's fantastic!" Cameron also commented on the Street's oldies - "Norris is a really fun character. He always has me giggling, his scenes are spontaneous!"

Nelly Furtado whilst in the UK also said how much she likes Natalie, back in August 2012, when she tweeted to her 2 Million Fans "Watching this programme. It's really good, coronation street? Don't know who watches it but Kirsty is amazing!"
